Snowpocalypse?
I think the snowpocalypse has actually arrived. Here's our house. Note the snow shovel at the end of the driveway - it comes up to my shoulders!!!!
That is what has been consuming all of our time and making us so tired of late - shoveling snow! Mopping snow puddles! Washing wet snow-clothes! Ugh!
Jimmy turned one on Tuesday. Ho-ray! I swear he has almost changed overnight. He points with his index finger now, and can push buttons and understands the cause and effect. He walks a lot, although he's still practicing and prefers to hold my hand. He copies the things I say, too. Mom and Dad came up for his birthday, and at the dinner he pointed at Pawpaw and said, "Poppop!" It was so cute! He also pointed at Nana, but didn't say her name. He was so happy to see them when they arrived!
Nana and Pawpaw are here for Jimmy's party, and just to visit. We invited 8 families for the party on Saturday, somehow it grew from my original plans! We're ordering food from Chick-fil-a to make things easier. I'm so excited!!! It's going to be a fun party! Lots of people I like. I just hope it doesn't snow too much.
The presents have already started to arrive - thanks everyone!!!! There are some pics below. Bob and Gina, we have yours, but since they were so nicely wrapped, we figured we'd save them for the party!
