Chris (who is the awesomest husband in the world) just got Mat to sleep, by rocking him. I honestly have no idea what to do with myself...wait, I'm going to have 1/2 a glass of wine.

I found out on Monday that my cousin and goddaughter passed away on Sunday. She had Rett's Syndrome. I talked to my mom yesterday, and we decided that Mat and I would drive up with her to Michigan for the funeral ( Read more... )

In our house, we have a few slaughtered clichés that we use when the time is right. The main ones being:

• We'll burn that bridge when we come to it.
• If wishes were ponies, beggars would fly.
• Well, that really threw a monkey in my wrench.

Does anyone have anything similar they use? I'm looking to expand my repertoire. :)
