Terra wasn't sure what brought him to this floor. From what he heard, he shouldn't go to these floors alone, but the curiosity got the better of him.

The world this floor was holding surprised Terra. He hadn't ever expected to see this world again. He walked across the beach, taking in the scenery, footsteps crunching in the sand. Though, at the moment, he didn't notice the other boy on the beach.

The sound of footsteps was hard to miss, especially to someone who'd grown up learning to listen for a rival sneaking up on him. Riku turned slowly, expecting Sora had come to meet up with him, but his eyes narrowed when he saw the form of a full-grown man. His eyes were still adjusting after looking out at the brightness of the sunset.

It turned out Terra wasn't alone on this island. He noticed a younger boy standing by the ocean. There was something familiar about this boy. In fact, there was something familiar about this whole situation.

He slowly approached the boy.

Riku examined the man as he approached. It was like he'd seen this man before somewhere. For a brief moment, he felt his heart relax, like there was a nostalgic memory from his childhood. It was like a forgotten dream. So many aspects of it, from the shift of the sand under his shoes to the fishy scent of the ocean just seemed to...

Riku's eyes widened as his heart thumped. There was something familiar about all this. He paused.

After a moment, blue sparks condensed out of the air and formed a Keyblade made of wings in his hand. The eye of the hilt seemed to stare at the newcomer. With a brief spin, Riku planted the tip deep into the sand, leaving it to stand there unsupported by his own hands. The keychain clinked softly in the sea breeze.

The teen said nothing, waiting only to see how the newcomer would respond.

For a brief moment, when the boy started summoning his Keyblade, Tera went on the defensive, preparing to summon his own. But when he realized that the boy wasn't planning on fighting him, he put his guard back down.

But, wait, the boy had a Keyblade, it had to be him.

"Riku?"
