I’ve been pondering this because I’ve just finished reading a non-fiction book called The One That Got Away, about a guy who lived his whole life yearning for the girlfriend he had when he was 17. It was our 4-year wedding anniversary yesterday, and it was at least 50% better than last year because Steve was actually there.
