I have a dream
I had a lovely dream last night. Home loan interest rates were - get this - 8.2% fixed for two years! I woke up feeling all warm and fuzzy. This demonstrates a few things - firstly, how preoccupied must I be to be having dreams about sexy interest rates, and secondly, even in the realms of fantasy I don’t expect it to be any more than 1.5 percentage points lower than it is now. I don’t ask much, I really don’t.
