How do you heal a broken heart, a heart that has no hope?
How do you mend a tortured soul, a soul that tries to cope?
Take strength in those around you, shared tears are life itself.
When the sun sets all around you, know deep within yourself,
That life goes on and we'll never forget, grief will still march on.
But memory and life right now will keep you hoping on.
Hold on to those memories and hold them close tonight.
And pray the world will come together and offer us respite.
Hatred brought about these things and hatred had its time.
But now it's time to throw it out and wash away its grime.
Let unity be our mantra, tolerance our creed.
But never shall we ever forget, those that have been freed.
