TM: Memories
I've mentioned that I'm Force-Sensitive? Have I mentioned that I can retain memories? No?
Well, I can. It's a sort of extension of that holding parts of my previous owners thing. Now, Qui-Gon never gave me any memories, since he didn't think to, so I only retain a sense of him within my Force-signature. Obi-Wan, on the other hand, gave me quite a few memories.
On Phindar he had to escape a memory-wipe and that was when he discovered my marvellous Force Gifts. He used me to shield his memories from the mind-wipe and he didn't lose any of them. More recently, Anakin and I bonded and he gave me some of his own.
That being said, since I don't die in a way that an actual living being does, I'll still have infinitesimal bits of me floating around, which means that I can give each piece a memory and never lose them all.
So I wouldn't choose just one single memory and discard the rest. I'd keep them all.
