After pulling up from a borderline-failing nosedive in math skills, the girl child got an 85 on her math TAKS, with another 85 in reading and a 92 in writing. *boogies*

So, we're watching the Nick Kids' Choice Awards. Jack Black is hosting. The boy child is suffering through most of it; it utterly does not matter to him, for the most part. So the girl child and I popped in Fantasia 2000. She likes to watch this one with me because the final sequence always makes me cry (serious goddess/stag death/creation imagery, very pagan, and very beautiful).
