alright, according to a lot of people, i've been brainwashed by the corporation, so why not put it to use here

My hair is always tied back and under my hat and tucked in my shirt. It rarely sees the light of day. My goatee... well, winter beard (yes, I have seasonal facial hair) is neatly trimmed and under an inch long. I don't like to let it grow wild. No matter what is groing on my face, I like to keep it neat. Every once in a while I get compliments from women that are 30+ on it. That bothers me a little. lol

My boss yells at me about how I dress often. Meanwhile - I tend bar at a crummy fall apart concert hall that has endless amouts of shitty punk,ska,rock bands and the odd hip hop show.

I genrally dress accordingly. but yet he bitches. I DONT HAVE FANCY CLOTHES!!

I really have to disagree. With each year more & more people & employers are becoming accustomed to the 'unique' look you're talking about, & letting it go. I think maybe you're just looking for jobs in the wrong places.

Considering the area I live in, it's hard to be taken seriously for being "unique". Bible belt military town...

However, I agree with you to a point. It's a bit more acceptable up north.
