Ladies and gentlemen, introducing...
...our new puppy, Piper!
We got her from a shelter; she was rescued from Puerto Rico. The family that had her originally here apparently didn't want a high-energy puppy, but they did want a 'pamper dog': someone held her down and gave her a French manicure. :-( She has some issues around being restrained, but we're working on that and otherwise she is a LOVE! Fonzie and she get along fairly well, though he (being a crotchety, middle-aged man) gets kind of tired of her constant, "Play with me,Fonzie! Play with me Fonzie!" The cats are VERY curious about her, but we're waiting until tomorrow (everyone will be home most of the day) to introduce them to her and allow her to explore the upstairs a little bit. Oh, and she's already got the hang of the potty training and has NEVER soiled her crate and only had 2 accidents, both times when she asked to go out but we missed the cue. Smart puppy! :-D
