Recipe assistance, please
So, I'm taking time out from my ridiculous busyness to go to a party with some of my classmates at the home of one of them (good networking opportunity as well as socializing). It's ostensibly a cocktail party, and Colleen (the hostess) has said we can bring food if we'd like. I already have a reputation amongst these classmates for being a good baker (I've brought cookies to class :-), and I want to make a REALLY good impression but cocktail-party fare isn't my strong suit. Anybody have an idea of something you've made for or had at a party that you couldn't get out of your mind? I don't even need the recipe; I can probably recreate anything you can describe. Help me Julia Child Obi-Wan, you're my last hope! :-)
