Dinner, Shows, and Stuff

Diego and I had dinner at Tapa the World last night. It was good as always, and I had some really good wine. We walked across to Kasbah after eating so that we could talk to Nicole (the really pretty lesbian server that Jayme and I met the first time we went there), but she was really busy and we didn't get to talk to her.

We went back to my house and had some drinks and played Scrabble ... though we didn't finish the game because Diego lost his letter rack (I later found it). Luckily we were playing on my travel Scrabble set which has letters that snap into the rack as well as into the board. We can pick up the game later (he's currently beating me, but that can change! He has still yet to beat me actually ...).

My foot still hurts like crazy. It's a bit better than it was, but it's going to suck to work tonight.

Interpol is playing in Davis on September 14th (and in San Jose on the 15th). I'd like to see them again, but I'm going to so many shows in September as it is that I don't think I can swing it.

The Go! Team is coming back to SF on October 23rd and playing the Fillmore. I would definitely like to see them again.

I sent my Sufjan Stevens videos to You Ain't No Picasso, and he should be posting them on his site soon. They're large files, but worth the download (I edited them into one video per day, rather than all the individual files. They're considerably smaller than if I hadn't edited them -- unedited they were 1.5gb, now they're about 150mb each). I'll post again when he actually uploads them.

Time to find some lunch.
