Art Auctions
Due to Astrea's current situation, which I'm sure many of you are aware of by now, I'm going to take two more art commissions, from the two highest bidders - if you're interested, please leave a bid (in US$) on this post.
You will be bidding for one piece of artwork each - either a livejournal banner, a Friends Only banner, a desktop wallpaper (no larger than 1024x768 - it will be exclusively for your use, unless you wish to post it), a book cover or a website graphic. You can see much of my artwork here, or I can provide you with a list of links to livejournal banners, website graphics etc that I've made.
I have good caps of the following fandoms/people - Smallville, Harry Potter, Angel, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Veronica Mars, Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis, Northern Exposure, West Wing, Sports Night, Desperate Housewives, Dogma, Gattaca, Garden State, Farscape, LOTR, The O.C., Spider-Man 2, Alias, 24, La Femme Nikita, Princess Bride, Peter Pan, Pleasantville, Romeo and Juliet, Minority Report, Simply Irresistible, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Lost in Translation, Pirates of the Caribbean, Ultraviolet, Breakfast at Tiffany's and Troy. I also have a limited number of caps of Babylon 5, Battlestar Galactica, Due South, My So-Called Life, Young Americans, The Sentinel, X-Files, Amelie, Closer, Entourage, Trainspotting, Roswell, Six Feet Under, Spooks/MI5, Threesome and Star Wars. Also Boyd Holbrook, Natalie Portman, Ewan McGregor, Elijah Wood, Ian Somerholder, most of the cast of Smallville, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, Orlando Bloom, Jonny Depp, Kirsten Dunst, Jared Leto, Angelina Jolie, Jason Isaacs, Scarlett Johannson, Drew Barrymore, Jude Law, Cate Blanchett, River Phoenix, Rufus Wainwright, Alan Cumming, Alan Rickman and others. If you are interested in artwork from any other fandoms or people, please let me know exactly what you're after when you leave a bid, so that I can check that it's possible before I accept the bid.
Bidding closes noon Friday 6th May, (UK time). As the need is urgent, I'm going to ask for payment, by Paypal to Astrea's account, on notification that you have made one of the winning bids.
I'd just like to add a note made by ingrid_m, because it sums up my feelings exactly: "Astrea has been on my friend's list for a long time, she's been in personal contact during this crisis with people I trust, so I know she's on the up and up.

Additional auctions
I've been asked to add more artwork to the post, also for auction. There are two items: (1) a Lex manip/banner for the exclusive use of the bidder and (2) 10 exclusive icons, all made by jeannie81. The minimum bid for either is $10. If the bid for the manip is sufficiently high, jeannie81 is willing to print and send a copy to the winning bidder (shipping will be extra). Icons can be from Smallville, Harry Potter, X-men, Lost, Desperate Housewives or other popular fandoms. If you have any questions on these items, you can email jeannie81 by clicking here.
These two auctions will conclude at the same time as my auction, and payment will need to be made in the same way, by Paypal to Astrea on notification that your bid is the winning bid.
