sorry.

Hah. Well, I was doing good there for a while. Er. I swear that I'm going to catch up on the memes, even if no one really responded to the posts or anything. I got really caught up in real life and the like.

I am sad to say that in one of my meme posts I mentioned my favourite book, and come to find out that the author just passed away a couple days ago. I didn't really keep that up to date with Jose Saramago's work except that Blindness is my shit, but it's still really sad to know he passed.

I'm also unsure if I mentioned the fact that I am one of the dumbest people alive. Long story short- I spilled tea on my laptop. Yep. So the keyboard doesn't like to work. At...all. Thankfully, the keyboard I have for my desktop is wireless. So I look like a fucking douchebag with my white Sony Vaio, and a black wireless keyboard (that is a pretty big keyboard, I might add) and it just looks really strange.

My icon-making has slowed considerably, also. I am still making them, when Photoshop allows me to do so, but it doesn't like me very much lately. Ever since the tea incident, it's a mystery as to whether it will function, or let me do nothing except for zoom out of images. Uh, my current icon, I made. Took a little while to shop out the annoying watermark, though. Honestly, I kind of find shopping out details like that to be strangely...relaxing. Don't ask, because I really don't know why. Once I do get up a collection of icons, though, I will make a big ol' dump of them with a fake cut over to my little personal graphics community.

In television and such news, I finished season one of Supernatural, and still catching destynd up. All I have to say is that the finale? HOLY SHIT. I have never flipped out at a finale so much in my entire life, except MAYBE at Nip/Tuck season five/part one. No. I'm pretty sure I flipped out more than that. I was also pretty excited Sir showed up quite a bit more towards the end of the season.

I have also apparently decided that it is my duty to make myself overdose on Robert Downey Jr. movies. Recorded The Soloist since it was on HBO at a time I wasn't gonna be able to watch. Watched it, and ldkghdfgh. Loved it. It even made me like Jamie Foxx, who I've never really cared for. Brilliant movie, though. Caught most of Tropic Thunder. Eh, I'm so/so with that one. I might have to watch it again, and catch the first half hour. About the only saving grace for it was RDJ himself. He had good lines, and even though I had to look it up to understand the blackface, it made a lot of sense and was even funnier, especially with the rapper-turned-actor character calling him out on his BS. Then watched The Incredible Hulk fiiiinally. Loved it. And was very pleasantly surprised at the end to have a minute with Tony Stark himself in a scene! Laaastly, I watched Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang for the first time in years earlier. I...am ashamed to admit that I forgot just how much that movie makes me laugh. I barely had a break from the laughing, though there were a few cringe-worthy moments I had chosen to repress from memory. I very clearly remembered the electric ball torture bit though. I did forget how fucking hilarious Val Kilmer is, though, and that is a fucking shame. They need to team up for another movie, stat.

This is actually getting to be a rather long entry so I think I shall cap it here and continue on later.

photoshop is a whore, jose saramago, robert downey jr., lot of catching up to do, movies, val kilmer, kiss kiss bang bang, television, memes, supernatural, books, jeffrey dean morgan, real life, icons
