There's a thing called luck. Some people have it, and some people don't. I'd like to go ahead and say I'm one of them who doesn't have it. Once again, I have been denied to going to Ithaca. ACC did not send out my teacher recommendations, which, didn't process my application thouroughly. This leaves me in quite an awkward position. I don't know what I'll be doing for college next year, so, I'll have to wait and see what happens with the other colleges. I owe money to SUNY for some reason, so, I need to get them the money. But I can't because I don't have a job and my family is basically poor right now.
I'll try and stray from my pretty shitty life right now and write something else. Star Wars: Episode 3 was good. Acting was pretty bad just like the others (Minus Liam Neeson in Episode 1), but, all together it was an enjoyable film. 8/10. Also watched 2 Kurosawa movies: 'Ikiru' and 'The Hidden Fortress'. Kurosawa remains to be, at least to me, the best director ever. These movies are true pieces of art. If you like good movies, watch these. They are terrific films.
My script is in the final pages for printing, so, it'll be sent out to a couple of festivals (Screamfest L.A. is one of them). If they like the script, agents will call. Which means my script will be bought. Sounds fine to me.
New Benefit show on the horizon. I'm thinking June 18th, which is a Saturday. Or the 17th. But it's for a woman who is going to Rwanda and make a book about the experience of those who lives through the Rwandan genocide in 1994. I'm supporting the arts, who'd a thunk it? But, Saturday, she is having a reading on her play she wrote at Cafe Lenna, starts at 7. If you'd like to go, please do. I'll be there, which..honestly isn't much of a consoloation prize for much of you who read this.Later.
