My Top 10 movies of the year

Here is a list of what I thought was the top 10 movies of the year (in order):

10. Collateral
9. Young Adam
8. Coffe and Cigarettes
7. House of flying daggers
6. Harry Potter and the prisoner of azkaban
5. Spider man 2
4. Closer
3. Kill Bill Volume 2
2. Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind
1. Shaun of the dead

....so there you have it. To be honest, this was a pretty shitty year for movies and I just read the nominations for the academy awards. BULL SHIT!!! It was so fucking ridiculous I nearly fell back in my chair. Fuck the academy. They know nothing of what should have really been nominated (The guy who directed ray got nominated, but not Michael Gondry, who did Eternal Sunshine, which was fucking brilliant. I am pretty pissed. Just wait till you hear my rant after the academy awards).
..On the upside, Ithaca is looking up. Looks to me like everythibng is flattning out and Ill be goin there next semester (I was supposed to be goin there now, but eh, what the hell).
I saw Walls of Jericho on Sunday with Pat. Great show, minus my jacket smellingmy cigarettes (ugh).
