Thr break
I have to say, the break was really good. I am practically fired from my job for being massively sick on new years day and not coming in, hence getting me a write up. Fuck em. But, I will have to sya my favorite parts of the break (not in any order)
1. Hanging with Jeff for 2 days straight. It's always good to see the guy, and we watched Freddy got fingered, which isnt good but has some moments. We played Halo 2, which I am not so great at with Bryan. I did my Christopher Walken impression over the voice module, and people were telling me to die and fuck off. It was immense fun for the whole family.
2. The band now has a live cd! It was recorded at our live Saratoga Winners show the 8th, and it came out freakin amazing. Unfortunaelty, they didn't record Radio, which we played. But oh well. It is fucking amazing, you'll have to pick up a copy.
3.Getting to see Dan. It is always hard to see this kid, but I saw him a couple times, and it was good to see him. Hung with John Gill, played some Half life 2, ate at a diner, played Scrabble. Yay!
4. I have put together a benefit show for the tsunami relief program. I have 7 bands commited and need 3 or 4 more. I'll keep you posted.
5. Pat. It says it all folks. Good times.
...and I did much more that I somehow can't remember (havin to much fun I guess). My classes today are fucking amazing! Acting is great, I'm pretty psyched bout it. My writing for the performance arts class is pretty superb, I like the teacher already. So, as it seems, my life is hitting a upnote. Next step, moving back to Saratoga (which I am working on).
I saw a bunch of movies. The life Aquatic was good. Typical Wes Anderson, if you've seen hus other movies (Royal Tenebaulms, Rushmore, Bottle Rocket). It's pretty funny, but lacks some plot support. 8/10. I saw Garden State. Let me just say I am pretty sick of the twenty something guy looking for himself film plot. It's used highly in independent movies alot and I am pretty sick of it. It's good as a film, but somehow the repetition of its plot is nausiating. Fans of Donnie Darko and Butterfly Effect will love this. 7/10.
I also did photgraphs for Sugar Eaters upcoming album. Sweet.
