On Saturday we had a a birthday celebration for Brehn. There was bike riding, playing at the park, eating yummy Mexican food, watching Transformers 2 and froyo. It was a full and fun day.

We went to the park after lunch where much fun with a sled on ropes was had. I think Brehn had only a tiny bit more fun than I did taking the pictures. ;)

I really think they need to make parks for adults. Who says playing is for kids?

This next set of pictures just cracks me up... the differences and similarities in body language... (i think i'm giving up on the jumping community btw, but i won't give up on jumping pictures)

My front room looks like a dungeon because of what the built in flash does with my wide angle. And no, I'm not sure what animekid is doing but Brehn was quite happy to have a bunch of people to play video games with.
Topher and Serene arrived! Topher is uber allergic to cats so we scrambled outside to hang out before dinner.
I am posting this picture because of the fact that it's horribly timed and because of such... perfect.
Serene leads the gang as we walked a block from my apartment to Metros Banderas for food.
crzfire, Topher and Serene... our table could have been a Coca Cola commercial (the kind with sugar, not high fructose corn syrup).
The rejects had their own table... *ducks*

Brehn opened a gift while walking to downtown for the movie.
Seth is giving animekid a look that screams "This is MY gelato!"
And here he looks happy from relief knowing that animekid has his own

A split second later Brehn jumped because that hand you see was coming in for a bit of a grab.
My brother arrived late for the movie so he hung out and waited. He had my birthday gift for Brehn in his car. Here he is assembling it.
