SE Asia Pt. 26 - Johor Bahru, Malaysia

Jul 13, 2006 20:09

Last weekend a bunch of us went to Johor Bahru, Malaysia for some quick shopping. It's literally a skip, hop and a jump from Singapore.

We took a cab to the causeway. The immigration lines were dumbtarded. We (me, Chas & Richard) took a bus across because we had thought we had fallen behind everyone else due to some miscommunication with the cab driver.

There's always something to read.

Ends up we were not behind. There's the rest of the group ... walking. lol!

When you walk out of the immigration area... you are bombarded by stupid taxi people who get involved in your conversations as if somehow they are welcome. The result of larger groups trying to make a single decision is that people opt to take the easiest route which ended up being the stupid taxi people.

Who says Microsoft is going to take over the world?

The main focus seemed to be watches. I don't know anything about them except that mine is kick ass.

DUH! Apparently Malaysians don't realize they should remove their helmets cuz' there were signs like this all over the place.

No pooping, no butt rubbing, no carts.

Naked light is the best type. Dammit.
