You know where Edward is? [ah! she sounds so happy-- and relieved...]

Alphonse must be with him! Those two know to stick together... Can you tell me where to find them?

Yeah, and... I don't think Alphonse is here. [ Otherwise, she probably would have met him already. ]

Though, Ed is at 1652 Albright Lane. I live at 913 Bilko Boulevard.

Alphonse isn't with his brother?

No. I've only heard about him from what Ed has told me.

[ WELCOME TO MAYFIELD. ]

Either still at home or he's been permanently droned.

[/NOOOOOO--]

I'm sorry for asking so many questions, but...

Droned?

Honestly, I'd rather you ask as many questions as you can.

Droning is what happens when we do something that doesn't comply with Mayfield's standards, either by acting out, not going to school or work for three consecutive days, not staying in our houses... It's either temporary where someone does eventually wake up from it, or permanently where they, unfortunately, don't wake up from. It's as if their free will is permanently stripped away and they do everything that's expected of them by Mayfield's standards.

[not very settling news, is it...]

...Alphonse is... only four. No one would do a thing like that to him...

[ At least you can take comfort in the fact that she's honest? ]

It happens, unfortunately.

Ah, right - where are my manners.

I'm Diana Ethelbert. It's a pleasure. And, don't mention it.
