I organised dinner for E's birthday last week at Ellacure. I have heard so many good things about this restaurant, both online and through word-of-mouth. Looking at the menu, there were 2 things that popped up which I'm 100000% sure would tickle E's fancy. So I went ahead and booked it - and lucky I did book and not just turn up!

For Canberra Food and Wine Festival this year, E and I decided to only just go to a couple wineries closest to Canberra. We had a late start (noon) and was really hungry! We chose Shepherd's Run Winery as our first destination, because it had a grape-stomping demonstration.

E took me to The Hermitage one night for our date night. The Hermitage has special nights where they offer a special discounted menu. Located near the Canberra theatre, I assume they get most of their money from lunches and theatre-goers, as I have never actually seen the place full with diners, even though the place is pretty small.
