COOORNMAAA(I)ZE
So the weekend before last I was somehow manager of a huge group (3-car) trip to the CORN MAAAZE!
Great to see grads Joe and Kevosme again ;) As well as Kent and Jo-el, two people I don't get to hang with all that much! Of course had Lauren, and last-minute added group of roomie (Amanda), boytoy Rogers, Kev "OK", Rando, Hewlett, Meg, and MLS. AND OFF TO THE CORN!!!
After a slight detuuur to get to Brownsburg (opposite of Whitestown), we came to the corn maze... based at a Barn, where it appeared a ritualistic multi-family goins-on was goin-down, complete with a last call for HOT DOOOOOGS in a pot. There was also a mini-barn dedicated to being a "haunted house", which would prolly scare a hamster ...if you put it in there with a couple black cats.
TO THE CORN! Some upper-level clouds, full moon... otherwise pitch black, with corn way taller than any of us.
Team neurotic followed Rogers, in an attempt to get as many of the 16 stamp locations over the 20-acre maze as possible (acheived 13). Team stick-with-Kim-and-getting-lost-to-max-the-insanity serendipitously found 5! We all met up again around time of corn closing (corn fields close???)... and I know my team sure had fun! :-D Who needs to stick to the maze, why not just walk right through the corn??? And sing songs... and analyze the wave patterns in the mid-upper atm... Upon meeting up with others, I was attacked by Hew and Kev. Thanks guys, I always wanted to get to know the corn *better* ;)
Post-maze, two cars trekked to the Lebanon Denny's to see what all the hubhub was about... and were pleasantly surprised to find that yes, it IS the Ritz of all Denny's. Much fun had, home around 3?
...aaand the Friday night was a success :) What did we do Saturday? We did somethin crazy. Oh yeah, besides QUASHING ND at SB!!! Uahahaha. Update on FALL BREAK 2004 to come!
