I'm sitting in the new public library in Fairfax--a pretty place, and one that will merit a blog post of its own soon. I'm typing this in a large reading room in the main university library. Of roughly seventy available seats in this room, only five are occupied. This is a massive contrast to the law library. This was a Slashdot post....eerily, it was immediately taken down. It would appear that the Administration's contempt for its scientific establishment continues. First there were NOAA scientists who were told not to speak to the public about ongoing climate research. Now records that were formerly public are now being withdrawn from public ( Read more... )
