I lied.

So finally I've managed to get fluxbox 0.9.12 up and running.

It's an extremely minimalistic window manager. The general impression one gets is a great leap backwards to Win 3.11 in terms of prettiness. It does, however, have one distinct advantage over gnome 2.8: it's fast. very fast. There's not a lot of overhead, and I get the most out ( Read more... )
