First Day Of School
First day of school. I literally skipped my first class because I got there late thinking it started at 10am when it started at 9am. My second class was a seminar that went well enough, nobody apparently knew anyone else. With regards to the tsunami one of the WorldVision kids I used to sponor lives in Thailand. He's 13, and I wonder if he's still alive. My parents are visiting me this week, my Mom arrives tomorrow and my Dad arrives Friday. I hung out with Asma yesterday, she is going through a hard time in her 2 year old marriage recently and I think she enjoys having someone new to talk to about it. And I like her, and like listening. I bought new shoes. They were cheap and different. Different makes me nervous, so we'll see how that goes. I miss my hockey pools. I let my paying LJ account status lapse. I'm fighting my budget to get my monthly expenses down to $1300 a month, of which my rent is $975. It's a razor-thin budget at that point but I'm going to try.
