I came back, and he was gone. Not even a note. I know he's alright, because everything else is alright... he just couldn't be bothered to tell me he was going off somewhere, apparently.

I could save him, but he won't be saved. I could improve him, but he won't be improved. I could make everything better, but he prefers it all broken.

One of these days, I'm going to lose all patience with him. I just hope that when I do I can put him together again, as thoroughly as I'll break him.
