I don't want to be shallow, but yesterday when I took DS on a play date with one of his new friends, once again I was slightly embarrassed b/c DS had to be encouraged to play with the date…really what he wanted to do was play with all her toys. I feel bad, because this happens as all the kids in his class seem to have parents that are better off ( Read more... )

 So we got to day care today by 08:15, most of the kids weren't there yet, J [manager and teacher] was sitting at a table w/ 5 kids going over A, B, C's and another table was doing painting, but only had a girl there and L [teachers assistant] was there too. DS loves his books and picture mags. I was able to capture him today relaxing after his bath with a PlayMobil catalog, he just loves looking at the pictures.

So, this Saturday I wanted to have some quality time with DS so I suggested to him that in light of Independance day being just around the corner, we make our own Israeli flag.
