fannish5's Question: Stranded Island Time!
I'm a bit late, but I'm sure it's still Friday in some parts of the world (and if not, well, it should be). This week's question is:
What 5 characters would you like to be stranded on a desert island with?
1. Esca Mac Cunoval (The Eagle) - He could definitely hunt us up something to eat, he's from pre-electricity times so he could find us a place to stay, and even if he just glared at me the whole time, he'd be so damn pretty that I wouldn't care.
2. Hermione Granger (HP) - She's the brightest witch around! If anyone could figure out a way to magic us off of that damned island, it would be her. And if she couldn't, we could laugh about something silly. And if that failed, well, at least I would be next to her beauty the whole time (hmmm, I'm sensing a theme here).
3. James T. Kirk (Star Trek) - He's smart, inventive, and well-trained in survival scenarios. It helps that he's gorgeous and that he'll pretty much sleep with anything that moves. Even if, for some bizare reason, I don't qualify as something that moves, I could at least occupy myself with the fantasies of what he and the other members of my stranded island team are getting up to.
4. Remy LeBeau (X-Men) - I've had a crush on Remy since I was a little girl. Being stuck on an island with him would be awesome. We could get into some mischief together, or, at the very least, he could be his usual sexy self and I could stare for long, long hours.
5. Kahlan Amnell (Legend of the Seeker) - Kahlan's used to traveling and living in less-than ideal surroundings, so she'd be able to come up with some great ideas for what to do to keep us busy and pass the time. She's also kickass, and fucking drop-dead lovely.
An average day on my Island of Awesome would probably involve Gambit stealing something, Kirk getting involved and stealing something back, possibly some more theft with someone else somehow getting blamed for the whole thing, which would then spawn a whole pseudo-fight between any two or more island members. If things got out of hand, Kahlan would look all intense into everyone's and figure out whodunnit (not that anyone would ever have any doubt as to who the most likely culprits were). Whoever lost the fight would then be in charge of finding dinner for the night.
*daydreamy sigh* Why am I not stranded there, again? Oh, right. Because I would lose every damn fight, and I'm rubbish at hunting and foraging. *sighs* Oh well, a girl can dream.
