I cannot believe it; my system crashed last morning, and I just got it working without my Outlook running, Sheeesh! Just when I wanted to settle into a comfortable read “POW”, it goes. I am mad as a turtle, and it takes a lot to get a turtle angry, so I had to go to my provider’s website e-mail server where I found Origa’s message just now that the first translation is up.

So far, this is one of my favorites and standing on its own, a great one at that…

stone Sphinx
keeping the warmth of the sun
through the night

Hi Martin, sorry to hear about your computer crash! Happened to me several times in this year alone... My Outlook wouldn't open at all last time, hence I lost all my emails after September 2011. And "My documents" folder wouldn't open after the last fix, hence I lost many images (probably hundreds!) for good. In addition, my camera lost all the photos in it -- most of them I didn't have time to download into computer. Lots of losses -- that's life.

Thanks for telling about your favorite. Hopefully Valeria finds it :)

What a nightmare...backup, backup, and backup with a mirror image of your OS is a must,

Good-Night,

Oops, I just noticed a master:

shooting star
your light still shining
around the world

Margaret Chula, USA

This is very nice, another favorite and my ink is fading as I am…fair thee well, my friend…

I am not sure Margaret will find this, but maybe she will -- that would be pleasant for her to read your comment, Martin :)

And I am so bad in backuping...

Martin -- you can't even imagine how your signature "tundra martin" sounds SOOOOOO colloquial Russian! :))) That's exactly the expression we use when someone doesn't understand simple things, or does something follish... The very common name for such a person is "tundra" -- people would say something like "You are such a tundra, man!" ("Ну ты и тундра, однако!") Haha!

silently
a star has fallen
cicada cry

~Viola

This is a beauty in the true sense of traditional haiku.
So full of subtle feeling, but not sentimental. Viola doesn't
have to "name" the feeling for me to feel it deeply.

Best wishes,

Paul

Так давно не проводили, я уж почти забыла, какое это волнение и радость -- читать столько красивых стихов зараз... волнуюсь тут вся опять, хехе :)

Ты в отпуске или нет ещё? Как вообще жизнь молодая?
