Finally got around to another update, woohoo, only two weeks since my last one, whoops!.
Now that I'm back at home things seemed to have taken a turn for the worse although I'm told this is merely coincidence and not a result of my loud and boisterous return. Mark left us on Sunday morning, literally a stop overnight and a walk for the dogs in the morning before buggering off back to K (I shall be following on Friday), the dogs very much appreciated their somewhat cold and wet walk and advice of wearing walking boots was very well said.
Whilst in K I did actually managed to do one visit, Friday evening saw Mark off to his Coaching Group Leaders' meeting and he dropped me off at D & M's where I got dosed with some extremely nice Australian wine and relaxed considerably (which doesn't seem to happen enough; it seems wine, good company and good food tend to be the medicine for tension and stress, emphasis on the good company). Spent a good couple of hours there, the last hour joined by Mark before I collapsed into bed back at S. Road.
Now back home I'm tackling the immense task of 'Spring Cleaning', I've already cleared out a large bin-sack and a half of plain rubbish including a wardrobe refurbishment. The room now looks a little better (I hate the way half way through tidying something it always looks worse than when you began, I've got past that stage now), and there are decisive spaces for additions to both wardrobe and filing system.
As for Universities, one more reply, my least favourite - Bristol have said no, not particularly surprised or bothered, and so that leaves just Durham, Edinburgh and St. Andrews to reply. The longer I don't hear atm, the better.
So, wish me luck and much fun this weekend; it's Mark and Andy's 'Birthday Shenanigans' and I've got the fun of working out what to wear, sounds an awful dilemma at this stage doesn't it? On the other hand, what better thing to worry about!
