All right.

I have tackled the Clothes Of Shame. I am suitably ashamed, although feeling like there should have been some kind of kneeling and/or flagellation involved, and have two more boxes to put my stuff in.

They are clothes of shame, but they are also clothes of such woe. I mean, obviously the woe leads to shame - because wtf is with someone who can't get their head around the fact that such short term pleasures as eating nice food and not doing any exercise can lead to such long term woe? That person's an idiot - but also just pure, omg-that's-such-a-nice-shirt woe.

So here is the Ridiculously Optimistic Plan.

In a year, when the flat contract runs out and I've had a raise and we've found somewhere to move to that has room for another chest of drawers, I shall come back here and pick up the chest of drawers I'm leaving behind. I shall open it up and find to my delight that there are lots of nice clothes in it, and some of them fit me.

Note that even in the Ridiculously Optimistic Plan, I don't come back to find that everything fits me. *frown* Attempting to be optimistic while retaining enough cynicism that if it doesn't work out you can say you didn't really mean it is hard.

Anyway I have to keep making these posts every so often just to have an excuse to use this icon.

And now I'm going to go and watch the last episode of Heroes series 2 with my dad. I know, it's bad when you're so behind that you overlap with the first episode of the next series...

food, tv, ww, wibble, heroes, packing, clothes, wah
