Rant Alert.

• Ice. Snow. Winter. The way people treat each other because they're always in a bad mood.
• Traffic. Why are people in front of me always so slow, and the people behind me are always in a hurry!?
• Potholes. If the city doesn't patch them I expect to see poor kids swimming in these suckers by summer. If summer ever comes.

• reading, all things.  other people's stories, books--especially non-fiction!, magazines, websites.  I would love to read more about graphic design, new media, dogs, cars, the world.  but, built like I am and always on the brink of sensory and emotional overload, when I get a few minutes I mostly feel the need to spend them decompressing.

The year of 42 is over, and despite high hopes I did not learn the answer to life, the universe and everything.  I did learn a few things though.

1.  If you drive a bomb like Big Green Alice long enough,and sit around the house the rest of the time, a minivan will not look so pathetic to you.
