What to do, what to do?

I went camping for two nights over the weekend with my family - father, uncle, brother, brother's wife, and 14 mo. old nephew - near Lake Hemet on the way up to Idyllwild which was a nice change from this bloody desert. It was full of huge pine trees and actually got cold at night; a nice change from down at the desert floor up in the mountains. I did, however, get a wee bit pink in the face from the bright sunlight but nothing too bad, luckily. Don't want to ruin my uber-goth complexion (haha, kidding, kidding). It was also really nice going back up to Idyllwild - my dad's and my old favorite get-away haunt - and I was lucky enough to pick up some of my favorite toasted coconut Assam tea from the Idyllwild Tea Co. Yum!! Drinking it now.
As for this week, I wanted to try out a new yoga studio but every single class I wanted to try out I was working at that time so I'll probably have to wait until next week and hope that my work schedule is better. I need yoga! I do. I feel like a lazy bum.
I also need more gothy club time which is also good exercise. Hopefully (hopefully!!) I'll have time next weekend since I'll be back up in L.A. on Saturday for the X Japan concert. Woot! Totally gonna wear my old hide cosplay. Haha. Something to look forward to! I think I might also need to be in uber-fangirl mode and bring my Yokohama X Japan tour bag. ^^;
I've also started looking around for any sort of interesting charity and/or NGO volunteer work but there's nothing worthwhile for me where I currently reside which isn't help my state of mind let alone my frustration and utter boredom. I wonder if I should just give in and work at a homeless or animal shelter since I can't seem to find anywhere else to volunteer. Ugh, but I wonder if that would even do me much good? And I'm not thrilled at working at either area; I really want an environmental charity but there's nothing here. *sigh*
This just isn't going to be my year, I think.
