I had a long day at work, but I met a very, very high-level and lovely woman today in one of my adult classes and we have a really wonderful conversation debating Japanese-English and Western-English, such as the differences between 'high tension' and 'high energy' or 'apartment' and 'mansion', not to mention all the strange Japanese-English names for foods here. It was great but as I've had a bit of a sore throat for the past couple of days it wore me out for my last lessons. I am sitting here now with a throbbing throat wondering how am I going to make it through my Japanese lesson tomorrow let alone another day of work?!
I think I need another cup of steaming mint tea full of honey and I'll just have to hope for the best. At least I'm sick now instead of next week when I have to be well because I'll be heading to Bangkok and Hong Kong! Wheeee!
