Yeah. I'm a little freaked out - and very exicted. But enough of my trip; I'll be bugging you all a lot when I return anyway....
I just wanted to post an updated picture of my POTO Masquerade costume. I've been working a LOT on transforming white stars into sparkly silver ones. 30 stars were sprayed with a metallic silver spray, added lots of glue on top, and then rolled in silver glitter. The result is pretty neat! I ran out of glue for the backside of two stars, but I have lots of glitter left and can do that later on.
The stars were since attached to strings of pearls, and then fastened to the Masquerade bodice. They'll eventually be attached to the skirt, but I need to finish the skirt first. This is how it looks:
