They had spent a few hours sweeping the local cemeteries ridding them of various nasties.
He lay on his side watching the slayer sleep. It was seldom that she allowed herself to enjoy this sort of closeness.
Normally she would be bounding off moments after the sex was over with a swift kick to his head.
So he took this moment of quiet and created a memory to savor when she wasn’t laying in his arms.
He watched her sleeping and words came to his mind.
