After buying it and having it sit in the car for a month, I finally decided it was time to switch Baby E to her new car seat. I had put it off for this long because Baby E isn't a large baby, so she still fit the infant car seat, and it was just so convenient to be able to strap her in indoors and just snap it into the base in the car. Watched X-Men First Class last night and really liked it. Pretty good mix of story and action although J felt it was a little unbalanced in favour of story. Saw the award-winning musical Wicked tonight, and not surprisingly, I LOVED IT. The story is based on the book of the same title by Gregory Maguire, and tells the backstory of what happened in Oz before Dorothy dropped in. Everything from the cast, the sets, and especially the story were magical! Highly recommended ( Read more... )

On my list of "stuff I should've watched by now" is the movie The Color Purple. I read the book 6 years ago, enjoyed it, found it poignant, and then forgot about it.
