B-I-N-G-O!
Hey crazy cats! Let's see...what have I been up to? We've properly met the neighbours now thanks to me! Totally random actually, I was having a coffee with my mate Angie after one of our lectures and this guy rang her and said he was coming to meet us and I was like 'Who was that?' and she was like "Jamie...he's really awesome, my best friend!" so this guy comes along and as it turns out he's one of my neighbours! So we had a lovely chat and he gave me a lift home and I'm a little bit in love with him, but anyway he invited us round to the house party they were having the next day! So...that's what I did on Friday, party at the neighbours and then Pete's party - both of which were awesome! Unfortunately this meant I was pretty hungover the next morning when I had to run to the train station (which happens to be on the other side of town) to catch my morning train to London! London was...well, there's no words for it...it was London! I love that place and I LOVED that I got to see all my boys again because they give me the kind of affection I just don't get over here...I dunno, people in Dubai are just more open with the whole hugs and kisses thing and I kinda miss that! Also I haven't gotten drunk/stoned with the DXB crew in forever so that was...interesting. Made friends with the bar staff at Wetherspoons so got a bunch of free drinks, and one of the guys behind the bar informed me that he was bouncer-ing at the LSE Student Union that night which was way cool because that's exactly where we were headed next! Yay for indie night! I got to be all bouncer-like with him for a bit...then I got bored and ran inside...ahem. Didn't sleep till 6 in the morning, woke up at 1 in the afternoon the next day and got dragged off to Chinatown for lunch...wheee! And then came back to sleepy old Exeter. Not that I've had the time to get any sleep here either though...London wasn't such a good idea as far as work was concerned, having not done any work over the weekend I've had a shitload to do in a very small space of time...so back to sleepless nights!
Taking a break tonight though, going to the Bingo with Stuart! Hee...people think we're really lame, but we don't care, we're gonna go hang out with the old folk down there and pretend we're an old married couple for the night...yay for the lives of pensioners! I like Stu, he makes me happy! And because he's making me go to the Bingo tonight, I get to make him come watch Harry Potter with me this weekend! It's a win-win situation I tells ya! Anyhoo, I'd better go finish up some work...meh. x
