Yet another all-nighter...
That's right, I decided to leave all my work till the last minute AGAIN so I'm going to be up all night writing my War and Peace in the Middle East essay - WOO! Anyone happen to know anything about how international involvement changed in the Middle East after the 1956 Suez-Sinai War? If you do, I don't suppose you'd want to write me a 2500 word essay on it? Go on...you know you want to...
Eugh, I'm functioning purely on caffeine. Jason's been lovely and has been making me cups upon cups of tea and coffee for quite a while now...I should've taken him up on the IV drip offer. I'm not sure how wise it is clogging my blood stream up with caffeine seeing as I plan on giving blood at 9:30 tomorrow morning...yum. I swear I'm going to die if I keep going at this rate, no sleep, caffeine overdose, blood donations, more essays tomorrow afternoon, kickboxing, dinner, salsa night at Timepiece...I'm going to have the best sleep ever after all of that tomorrow night! That is, if I make it till tomorrow night and don't pass out half-way through the day!
Anyway, I'm treating myself to a weekend in London as a little reward for all these sleepless nights so it's all good! I'm gonna' meet up with a whole bunch of my boys from home and we're gonna' party up DXB style down in central London! Although when I spoke to Rafe, whose bed I'm crashing on Saturday night, this involved 'a little smoking, a little chilling' so maybe not 'partying up' so much...but I think a chilled out weekend might just be what I need...especially coz Rob's dragging me out on a Pub Golf night on Thursday, then the crazy party on Friday. Eep.
Why is it so bloody cold in this bloody country?! I can see my breath when I breathe out IN MY ROOM - and I'm not even exaggerating, I seriously can!
We got a dance mat for the Playstation, so everyone's been going a bit crazy with that...yet another distraction - wheee! Although if I hear 'I Will Survive' one more time I might stab myself in the eye with a chopstick.
