i thought this was going to be about idiots thinking Google was honouring Hugo Chavez...
so, as pointed out, Google never do Easter Eggs, so did all these conservative religious blogs and sites complain every year since 2000 or are they only getting pissed off now that it's a Mexican-American left-wing labour leader? >_>
So much for adhering to that whole sensitivity to Hispanics. Oh, and since Google is a private enterprise (corporate personhood) therefore subject to First Amendment, why are these "patriots" trying to force their own expressions and beliefs on a private citizen?
http://www.bing.com/travel Its basically your average flight search thing, allows you to search all the major trip ticket sites for comparison shopping without all the hopping and then it has the flight price predictor, which gives you a rough look at the flight market for when to buy or hold off!
I use to buy my airfare to Chicago in Januaray for my trips in May, thinking I was getting the best deal, but through Bing, I found out if I buy between President's Day-St. Patrick's, I save an extra $30-50 more than when I buy at the beginning of the year. XD
Maybe to avoid this controversy, they shouldn't have put up anything. I mean, it doesn't take a genius to foresee that some people are going to be pissed about it.
Actually they do in the Greek Orthodox tradition. Legend is that when Jesus died on the cross, an eggseller carrying his eggs to market had all of them turn blood-red in his baskets. But then, Greek Orthodox tradition is that you dye all the eggs red.

Seriously, even the people who are upset about it ... are they REALLY going to switch search engines? I mean, come on now.
And also? Easter eggs also have absolutely ZERO to do with the whole point of Easter.
