Oh, but that's so sad.

I'm not sure what else to say about it, but it's so sad. Except for the engagement to the lovable street punk, which was cute.

I had this terrible vision of Mai falling out of the Jeep (you know, because it wasn't stopped moving) and for a second I honestly wondered why the terrible accident she was forseen to have was so...lame. Also why the story was so short. But fortunately, in the end it just turned out to be terribly depressing.

*cracks up at the idea of the story being centered about Mai falling out of the Jeep* That would have been just terrible on my part, I agree. No sense of drama at all.

As for the terribly depressing, I think that maybe I didn't make some parts of it clear now. At the end, I stated deliberately 'the future clouds over' as a way of saying that Isis can't even remember what was supposed to happen any longer when Mai kisses her, which could be taken to mean that the future has been changed. After all, Seto managed to change the future, so if Isis didn't have a vision of Mai kissing her, then that could have changed Mai's future as well - meaning that Mai won't die like that after all.

...think that I need to make it more explicit that Mai might be saved? I meant to give it an ambigious feel, but not enough people are picking up on the possibly happy ending.

Heh...actually, I like that ending. Not even a fan of the coupling, in the least, but there's something about...it's just your style. I can forgive almost any sort of coupling involved.

Heh...and look at that...I see *PLOT*, definite defined plot in this one. So there. >.> *stubborn* See...Mai goes to learn what the problem is, learns of it, and I love the vagueness given. I happen to like short pieces, so? It gives you a sense of possibilities. Whereas, something like the actual show itself, takes away most of the mystery. You know just how things are going to end for Atemu. There is no possibility or open roads to explore and think about. It leaves nothing open for you to have fun with.

While overall depressing, I thought the last line uplifted the piece. >__< It was the way how the depressing vision was cut off by something like a kiss. One of the best ways to get someone to stop talking is to get their mouth busy with something else. That adds a lighter feel to the piece by itself...I'm also taking connotation from the act of ( ... )

*adores you* I'm so glad that at least one person got the meaning of the last line - nobody else seemed to guess that Mai had just changed her future by kissing Isis.

As for the coupling, it's actually my favorite shoujo-ai couple in YGO but I don't think there are many fics with it. At all. I've only seen one other actually, but that was really good... And, out of curiousity, what sort of couple would I not be able to redeem?

And, out of curiousity, what sort of couple would I not be able to redeem?Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying you can't redeem these couplings. I bet you could...actually, I would just refuse to flat out read them ( ... )

Well, I hate Seto/Jou as well, but Seto/Bakura I've seen done well in a few places. Okay, one place. And Marik/Atemu, I've seen two decent fics, but that's all. Bakura/Atemu is obscenely popular (far more popular than psychoshipping *cries*) but I don't like it either.

Therefore, the only pairing that I'd even attempt writing from that list would be Marik/Atemu, and even that's rather unlikely, since it messes with my OTP. *pats her psychoshipping*

I'll remember that you want to avoid them though, in case I ever decided to rec fics for my flist. I think that I saw a meme which asks you to rec a fic for every person on your list.

xD, am I to take it that you're a shoujo-ai fan then, or just an Isis fan in general?

And I'm glad you liked it ^_^
