So let me get this right:
The ostensibly fully-clothed Bayonetta puts a strong female lead at the front in the character action sub-genre, and because it's got a considerable amount of cheesecake, it's somehow demeaning to women. This in a genre that has never been known for restraint and whose notable female characters feature a military surplus schoolgirl, a "CIA Agent" in a leather fetish outfit, and a creep[y oedipally questionable lady in a biker outfit.
Mortal Kombat puts a bunch of monstrous chicks who look like they were pulled out of a book of the most anatomically absurd 90s "bad grrl" comics, with the most ridiculous fucking outfits you've ever seen who get torn apart, their heads ripped off, literally get pulled in two, featuring a shark mouthed hellbeast who likes to do "sexy" awkward gyrating animations, and no one bats an eye because it's just the latest edition in the carnival of stupidity that is Mortal Kombat?
And no one bats an eye at the latter?
Just checking.
