I am taking four finals. The three most difficult ones are within 24 hours of each other. Joy. But at least they will be over with by Tuesday afternoon! And Thursday I get to go home. It feels like I was just there! I can't wait to relax, put this semester behind me, and spend some time with family and friends. I'm especially missing my baby niece, Annabelle!
And Digory. Digory (whom my sisters named after The Magician's Nephew) is an adorable cairn terrier who looks just like our cairn terrier, Taffy. My parents rescued him and are trying to find a home for him, but I want this dog for my own so much! He's so precious and sweet.
I am pathetic. I can't bear studying for long amounts of time and so I'm studying for an hour or two, then taking a short break with a kids' computer game called Zoo Tycoon. Let me tell you, building habitats for computer generated animals is so much more entertaining than learning about European Geography.
This semester has stretched me and challenged me in some unexpected ways, and for that I am thankful. I never in my wildest dreams imagined that I could grow to appreciate the South Korean tradition of P'ansori singing, or that I would find World War I French Literature so very fascinating. Learning about WWI has always been so dull, and listening to traditional Korean music without any knowledge of its context is, well, frightening.
And that's enough of that. A-studying I go! Also, I earned swagbucks twice today for a total of 4. You're welcome, Bethany ;).
