Talked to the surgeon again today and he said my wrist is healing well and all kinds of on-schedule. I'm meant to massage it and stretch it and can return to work whenever I'm comfortable (that'll be a few more weeks at least; there's still a lack of flexibility and strength that makes me nervous). Aaaaaaaaand I'm off to get my new robo-claw wrist surgery which promises nearly instant and total relief after 20 months of pain and inconvenience. Ahhhhh...

Jeeez I'm hungry. I'm actually really truly grateful for the 6am start-time. Such a fattie.

Spent the weekend in Maryland with Ollie, baking cookies and partying with a bunch of physicists. Oh, and also took my JLPT (Japanese exam). Ahahaha YEAH more on that later.

The Introduction.
I am crap at communication lately so I want to make sure that everyone (reading this journal, at least) knows what is actually going on over the next few months. I keep forgetting that, you know, the world a) doesn't revolve around me and b) isn't psychic. ONWARD!

Mostly recovered, no longer muttering about my stomach and the humpback whale being in any way related, hope never to repeat the experience of being that sick especially in a foreign country.
