Yes, this is me. At home. At 7:25 in the morning. Why? Because UPS cut me off, that's why. Well, I could have told them to shove it and stayed my guaranteed time regardless of how light the volume is, but with this raw cough I'm cultivating I didn't feel much like it. Strange how they didn't do so the Monday after Christmas, when our volume was only 7,000 and that was including the 2,500 packages we had in the building already from closed locations. If I recall correctly, I even got overtime that day and then had to come back in at night.
I should have called in sick like I was considering when I got up. At least then I'd be paid for more than two hours. Oh well.
Gives me a chance to catch up on some things. Or, uh, take a nap.
By the way, this track is awesome. It's off of the The Road Less Traveled album by Freak Guitar (that is, Mattias Eklundh). I spent so much time listening to his more upbeat tracks like Insert Coin, Minor Swing, and Little Bastard that I completely missed out on this one.
