It's a lot more complicated than what I'm personally used to, but it's got a lot of neat buttons. First tip: that flashing light? That tells you if its recording or not.

You'll want to get into the habit of turning it off when you're not using it. Too often people only learn their lesson after they've recorded themselves involved in... personal activities.
