I only wondered why there've been bigger signs of an outrage about this in South Africa? Do they have anything of their production chain settled there? Meaning, if the craziness about spotting racism that currently is on in the West was as honest as it acts, the outrage should have taken place in other areas of the world, but was there anything? Can't remember... Nobody storming H&M shops and vandalizing them there locally.
Even textile is produced in the same manner. Exploitation. The only way is to make out of weaved grass or something. Have you heard about ethical consumption? It is non-existent.
About people communicating though, it is possible. Like one time they were striking in the us about communication workers minimum wage, so members of the union went to Thailand where the jobs are outsourced and wound them up so it was an international strike. That is why we need unions everywhere at the moment.
That's why I only named it "possible exceptions"... I was aware of that fact still there lies the question of where the material for making custom-fabricated clothes comes from
