I read up on all the chapters a little before The Key and Its Travels was put up, and I quickly became a fan.

In all my years as a reader, I've found no other author who paints such vivid word pictures as Catherynne Valente.  Each book is so full of incredible imagery, palpable descriptions, and sights that are all at once entirely fantastical, and entirely believable.  For this reason, anyone involved in any of the arts will find inspiration for new works ( Read more... )
