Flyball Practice
Today Faith and I had flyball practice in Blacksburg. The NRE is going to Georgia next weekend for a tournament, but I opted not to go. It's such a long drive, and I am poor. Practice was fun, though. Faith did very well, although she seemed a little slower than usual. Maybe she's still tuckered out from yesterday. She got a couple of compliments from people on her new haircut. One of the flyball people is a cool woman named Jennie. She has an insanely intense Aussie, Oliver, who usually runs under 4.5 seconds. His team does best with a heavy boxloader because he hits the box so hard that it moves otherwise. Jennie told me today that she's considering a Standard Poodle as her next dog because she likes Faith so much, which I was pretty tickled about.
Yes, I think Faith is still tired from yesterday. She's conked out on the rug. Soon my mom and Kristen are going to get here with their dogs. I expect their arrival will perk her up.
Also, I need to figure out where to display Faith's rally-o ribbons! ::squee::
