(no subject)
So in the process of researching Jose Limon for my independent study (I'm supposed to write a paper about him and his dance technique) I come across listings of all the schools that are teaching his style. And then on his company's website, there is this little link that says "summer programs." This piques my curiousity and I go take a look. There is a summer program in Oakland from June 19-July 1. $700. crap. But it doesn't look like there is an audition, at least I couldn't find anything about that, just placement. And two weeks of four classes a day with really good teachers. I'm almost orgasming just thinking about it. Mommy, please????? If I whine enough can I do it? Or I could try presenting arguements as to why it would be a good idea, but I should think that was obvious. I guess less obvious is that some places ask for the summer programs you've been through. And yes, if I were a lemming, I'd jump.
